The Social Justice and Advocacy Committee of ACSSW is committed to advancing social justice, equity, and ethical advocacy within the field of counseling, sexology, and sexual wellness. The committee centers the understanding that sexual wellness is inseparable from social, cultural, political, and systemic contexts, and that oppression, marginalization, and inequitable access to care directly impact individuals' sexual health, identity development, and overall well-being.
